"Christmas Mini Paintings for 2014"

I had so much fun painting my 10 tiny paintings to be used for Christmas tree ornaments.   100% of the proceeds go to our Ecumenical Food Pantry in Fellsmere.

Because of our heartfelt work quite a few people will have full tummies this year.

This is a project I intend to participate in every year.

So get you order in early for next year.

It is a very enjoyable project.

  They are 4" x 4"  and 3" x 5" acrylic on canvas panels.

Backings and ribbon loops are added when completed.

They turned out so well.

I'll take photos Saturday morning at the art show

where the tree will be standing

and filled with little Christmas Mini's.

Enjoy!

"Christmas Mini Paintings 2014 Two Down Eight to go"

My Little Angel

It's that time of year again when my art club members do tiny paintings to sell for fundraising for our local food pantry.

I painted ten last year and sold all of them.  100% of the proceeds go to the food pantry.

It was a nice thrill.

Here is my second one for this year.  Just finished it.

It is a 4" x 4" acrylic on canvas panel.

 Enjoy!

Thank you very much!

A Wonderful Peaceful Thing To Do

Sondra's Jacaranda Flowers

There was a wonderful women at my art club who had a long term illness
of breast cancer.
She was there learning to paint in one of the clubs painting classes.
Sadly, she was unable to finished this beautiful painting she had started.
After she passed away her husband asked if someone in
the art club might finish it.
A few artist worked on it and found it too emotionally difficult to work on so . . .
when they asked if I would like to give it a try, I said "sure".
I enjoyed doing it so much.  I think it is so beautiful.
Her husband Ed told me that I could use it
in my art portfolio.
The original has Sondra's signature on it but this one doesn't

Enjoy!
