Gallery Wrap

This one was a little tricky with the three dimensional lattice painted on the sides and the 3 dimensional focal point running off to the upper right. It was a small challenge but a lot of fun. All of my gallery wrapped paintings have the painted side effect. It's so attractive and a clever look to those of us who are not painters. Peni

"My little Hailey"

I just went to the cultural council of Indian River County site and under the "Art in public places", clk IRC courthouse and you will see my painting along with a few others. I'm so excited

A lot to learn

Here I am. In the flesh. Just got out of the hospital yesterday. I'm well but my new meds are giving me a killer head acke.
Thats my final complaint for today. The most wonderful thing has happened. I am currently corresponding with a person from New Zealand who is a famous artist. He is a fabulous person and all of my facebook artist buddies, blog readers, and fellow art club members should look him up. He is at "www.newzealandartist.com" I very highly recommend him to anyone of you who is looking for any kind of art direction and or inspiration.
And along with this is my most recent photo of my current painting that I am working on in my art class under the direction of Dawn Mill at the Vero Beach Art Museum. Enjoy and I promise the next time you see this painting the kitty will have a face. Also I am including a copy of a painting by Richard Robinson, New Zealand artist.com Look him up. Peni

Missed number 9

Here I am day 10 - making a couple of changes. Art by Peni Baker has finally showed up on google search. But only one positing. Beats me and I'm not going to sit here today and try to figure out what I did to make it appear for just one day. Also, On my blog, it is not obvious that in order to go to prior post you must scroll down to the bottom of the page to click onto prier post. It's a live and learn situation. I think what I have learned really is that this blog is only going to be important if it is attached to a web site. And of course the web site is only going to be important if someone looks at it. So my original question remains. How do I get people looking at this blog. Does anybody know. I'm sure I know or can figure it out but this vail of blogsite frustration is too thick today. What do ya think? Peni
